This book is Tooke's rendition of Pomey's classic work. These stories though similar to the Greek are derived from Latin tradition. It appears that Pomey had some sources (perhaps Varro) not generally cited today and provides additional perspective above that which is found in modern textbooks. I still recommend it despite the missing page.Product details
